The reason is, thieves who steal credit card nos sell it on the web to scam artists for anywhere between 10 cents to a dollar per card number. Unbelievable. I had a female friend who goggled her name and was shocked to see the result - her name, city where she lives, date of birth and age showed up ! It turned out that these connection/name databases like WAYN and LINKEDN respond to the google search with granularity. She was pissed - immediately deleted her profile but google still showed the result although if she clicked on the URL it showed - " can't be found". It turned out that google's search cache doesn't refresh automatically and she had to wait for almost 2 weeks for the cache to clear !
